The wedding ceremony at Deer Creek Golf and Country Club in Ajax was a beautiful event with everyone being bathed in warm sunshine. We really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!
The officiant was Mike’s father and he kept everyone entertained with childhood stories of Mike growing up and of the importance of patience, understanding, and commitment in a marriage. The decor at the reception included hand-folded Japanese paper cranes – a nod to Laura’s heritage on her mother’s side of the family.
The speeches reminisced about their earlier lives, their love for one another, and toasts and blessings upon their marriage. There were hearty laughs, lots of giggles and happy tears.
