Tanya and Matt were introduced to each other by a friend when they both attended the same Bible Study. They are both very shy so it took them a little while to connect.
One night, while out with the Bible Study group at Dairy Queen, Matt asked Tanya for her number. After a couple of months (I said he was shy!) he finally worked up the courage to text her.
They continued to text and talk and eventually fell in love.
About a year after they met, Matt proposed while they were out for a walk at a park in the winter.
Matt is currently in the Army, stationed out in Kingston, Ontario. He is in the middle of changing careers and likes sports and video games.
Tanya is a registered Practical Nurse and currently works at a small hospital. She loves working with elderly people, reading books, shopping and watching movies.
